DGFT clarifies that total quantity of Peas available for import during the period from April 1 to June 30, 2018 is one lakh MT minus the quantity already imported from April 1 2018 and to assess the remaining balance, importers who have already contracted for import of peas before the date of issue of the Notification No 4 and have paid in advance (full or in part) for the same or have opened irrevocable letters-of credit for such imports before April 25, 2018, to furnish documents indicating the quantity contracted and amount paid, so as to enable this Directorate to lay down further procedure for import of the remaining quantity
